Note: The chassis number on a T2 is in various locations:

1.Identification plate on the right hand side of the fresh air duct in the cab area.
2. On the vertical surface to the right of the engine.
3. On the panel behind the drivers seat.
4.On the right hand engine cover plate.

The first 2 digits of the chassis number represent the models type (see below). The third digit represents the model year and the fourth digit means that it is a Type 2, so this number is always a 2!

Example: 2202060313 shows that it is a 9 seater microbus and it is a 1970 model. Easy!
