Bodelwyddan Castle, St. Asaph 18-19th May 2003
Again it was a mad rush to get there early - having a baby really means that time goes out of the window!. We arrived around 8pm to be faced by rain and wind. Not very tempting weather to camp in and set up an auto-jumble stall. The field really did look like a mud bath with the track out impossible to pass after a few hours of rain. Camping next to the track did not help with people trying to get up the hill and failing - always right about the spot where we were camped
By the morning the rain had stopped but the wind had really whipped up with awning being blown everywhere. The rain had put people off so numbers were down on previous years - that's what we thought anyway. This year saw more water cooled cars than before. Maybe this is a change of direction for the show?
Anyway, we had a really good day and cannot wait for next year - lets hope its nice and sunny!
